We are delighted to announce that the Year 6 children will be taking part in Swimming Lessons as part of their PE Curriculum in the second half of the Summer Term 2019 (6 weeks). These lessons will be for 1.5hrs each and will ensure that the children access the required level of instruction. All children, by the time they leave primary school, are required to have swimming lessons so that they are able to swim at least 25 metres using a variety of strokes. The lessons will take place at London Fields Lido which has a heated outdoor pool, poolside hot showers and changing facilities. All Year 6 children must take part as this is part of the PE National Curriculum.
